Yeah, funny, isn't it. One gets the impression that they're looking for just any explanation. Who knows it wasn't some bank or broker unwinding its short positions on the dollar or euro, whichever. This Vodafone/Mannesmann deal supposedly was of influence too according to them. I just don't see how.
