Great thread, Yak. There's no real argument about the status of NY; it's the Rome of today, the Alexandria of the 20th and 21st centuries. Don't forget Lincoln Center, MOMA, the Guggenheim and countless other world famous cultural attractions. I'm a Yankee fan, but the Mets look particularly hot this year. If there was ever a shot at a subway series, this is the year. I'll probably drive up to Fenway in Sept. to attend the Annual Choke Party. Maybe I'll see you there. Mark
