Alexa--

I'd agree that men--especially young men--are more aggressive than women, and that this is biologically determined, but my understanding is that recent studies suggest that this has to do with a specific primitive part of the brains that is much larger in them than it is in us. Interestingly, it seems that extremely low levels of testosterone are more likely to provoke excessive aggressivity than are extremely high ones. This, to the great surprise of the researchers, was one result of a large study of men who have this problem (and evidently it's quite serious; if your testosterone's low almost to the point of nonexistence it'll cause all sorts of physical problems).
