Rick, to put your notion of the flat stock performance of
MOGN during 1999 to rest I thought I would compare the
performance on my time frame, and not let the 1999 (equity)
stagnation that you focused on take away from the dramatic
strides that MGI Pharma under Blitzer's reign has made.

JANUARY 1998 to Present:

INCY 40 to 135 = 3.3x
SEPR 40 to 135 = 3.3x
CELG 10 to 90 = 9.0x
IMCL 8 to 65 = 8.1x
AFFX 30 to 270 = 9.0x
MOGN 4 to 30 = 8.0x

MGI Pharma is just getting started - they are by no measure under-performing...

The best is yet to come Rick...I know you will be there...

Oh and by the way, Bags made the more accurate call on MGI Pharma
than yourself...

HOLD ALL SHARES THROUGH ALL OF PHASE II was his call.

He knew the drug, you and MJ did not.

1999 was an outrageous year for MGI Pharma, the numerous
accomplishments in 1999 set the table for 2000
and beyond...
