Barry - <I'm being installed on DSL this coming Monday, but the best I can hope for, because I'm 16,300' from the phone co., @ 69/mo is 144k but that's better that the 36.8-44.4k I've been on. My cost will be the same as now paying because, I'm dropping two isp's and a dedicated phone line.> If you're not incurring any more cost, you should like this service better than 44k dial-up. Especially if this is the only broadband option you have. I admit it would be nice if you could get faster line speed, but it is still nice walking up to your computer any ol' time, move the mouse, and start going. I started out at 264, and was upgraded to 768, for less cost per month. I pay 30 for DSL (GTE) and 18 for ISP. PB
