Peter, I checked out DSLReports.com last September when I thought about getting DSL. Covad was the only company with the bandwidth <GG> to answer my phone calls and e-mails. I finally decided get a cable modem -- no installation charge, no equipment charge. It is very fast and when/if the cable system slows down in my neighborhood, perhaps DSL suppliers/installers will have their act together.
