I'm really not sure about GTE's position. I've read GTE quotes that say "what would we do with 6mb"...implying that 1.5mb is sufficient. As you know, Westell is working with GTE as much as Amati.

Do we have any facts that substantiate a GTE DMT deployment over
CAP? I tend to think both flavors would be deployed. I just hope
Amati can gain a nice % of the roll-out.

In regards to the Alcatel award... if this is indeed "carved in stone", why is IBM working with Bell South and Ameritech on ADSL
platforms/trials?
