Re: "And you own stock in this company? "

Yes, I am now the owner of a few hundred shares. They cost me nothing and I think I can make money writing CCs.

Now as a shareholder I would like to see AMD remain profitable and I don't think they can stand up to the onslaught as things stand now. The Athlon at best is only able to match the CuMine and still has trouble finding customers. With the specter of Willamette looming, clearly the end is in sight for those who can see beyond the end of their noses. This company needs to focus on long term profitability and historically that has taken a back seat to harming Intel, even in the minds of the AMDroids here on this thread. NSM saw the light and they are doing just fine. I think perhaps the first move would be to turn the Dresden fab over to Flash. All that capacity going to waste for lack of Athlon customers and the world is starving for Flash! Do you see a possible match here? Will AMD give up it's hopeless vendetta and pursue sustained profitability? I hope so.
