Paging is the stone age, it is no match for the cellular revolution, whether its one way or two way messaging. Dow Jones Newswires: 4 Feb 00 2:01 While dropping prices for mobile phones are widely expected to leave one-way traditional paging in the dust, analysts differ on the role two-way paging will play in the wireless world. In a Thursday research note on Metrocall, ABN Amro analysts wrote "We are not convinced that the developing two-way messaging market can accelerate at a fast enough rate to stave off the deteriorating operating fundamentals in the traditional paging market."
