Hi Thom...

I haven't played with the downloader in over 6 monthes. When I find some time I'll see if I missed something. But I remember there was only 2 data services that would work..dial data and telescan. No way to dial Q+ directly. These are put directly into downloader format which is what is needed for the composites. Q+ data format is propriatary. So I have to use the metastock output for SC to read it. All automatically updated when dl'ed each night. Q+ has a tread here on SI. It is $15/month for 800# and complete updating. Internet is $12.95/ month but you must dl the files in exact date order if you miss a few nights. Exchanges are NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX & Indexs all issues included in zip file that takes about 2 minutes to dl. Fundimental data is included. They are going to be releasing the new version soon which has I believe 6 years of data instead of the current 2 years. The big plus is the scanning program... by running scans nightly, I only need to import 2 or 3 tickers into SC3.0 thus saving diskspace. The Q+ charting program is very basic but can provide a good quick look <G>.

Regarding "That is one way but you can also change the spaceing between the bars or candles. Check it out."

I can't find that in SC3.0 you must be using SC4.0. All I can find is a check box for this:
"Auto space bars when chart resizes"

Regards.
