Question for the thread ....

I own Jan '01 COMS 55 Call options (or Leaps). COMS is spinning off the PALM IPO in the next month or so. Within 6 months or so after that, they plan on distribution PALM shares to COMS Shareholders (maybe 1.5 - 1, or 1-1, or something like that ... still undefined).

Here is my question. Normally if you hold a call option, dividends still go to the actual shareholder. Would the same hold true here, or would they "adjust" the options? Also, since PALM is considered to be the largest asset of COMS, if there are no adjustments, would it be wise to also own COMS Jan '01 Puts?
