Hi wily, lotsa' good stuff on the Message Board. They claim Rain 2.0 is superior to Cpidle<sp>. D/load there. Article from message board. Seems 750MHz w/550e would be no problem.

There are 2 versions of the Coppermine. The"E"series, uses
100MHz FSB and the "EB" Series runs 133MHz FSB. Since the EB has a high FSB already, but low multiplier, one will have to make 150 or 155MHz for reasonable over clocking on the EB's. The E series easily make 140MHz FSB although we only clock them to 133 when we ship the out due to the slightly higher
AGP Clock (70MHz) and PCI Bus speed (35MHz). Not much to make a difference on most machines. So at 140 on the 550E Coppermines , you get 770MHz. We have them on the site if you are looking for them.

Regards, /jw
