Another thought reason takeover - would there be any rationale for a different perspective - buyout by a company like Tyco (recent rumblings they may get involved in fiberoptics - details not clear to me) - buyout by a conglomerate. Or even a company like enron that owns the right of way - not clear to me that they would have any motivations in this area. Remember that corning did start as a dish and glass company. Steve
