Unsolicited hype... For any lurkers wanting to learn about market timing, TA and meet some great people interested in the same.

I just bailed on CAIR. I left a bit of dough on the table. Some would say "fool!" But I say there is a method to my madness, something I didn't have before TA.

I really don't know anything about CAIR, other than it is a telecom stock and there is no news of a buyout and it has the makeup of a good trading stock. Volatile and good float turnover. It has a number of scan hits.

On one such scan hit I purchased it. A bit later it plummeted below my stop loss which I failed to take. Sitting with a loss I did some serious TA on it trying to find a good place to get out gracefully. After some study I noticed a line (with a little bdog modification) I learned at a Doug Seminar. It showed that there was possible support. I held where I normally would have been shaken out, only to watch it rally. A little regrouping and target practice along with major nail biting and I have a profitable exit. I bailed early as I was not convinced of recent rally.

Luck? As skeptical as I am of everything I would have to say maybe. BUT... TA gives me the best timing approach to the markets than anything else I have found. One can tie this in with any good funnymentals and you have entries and exits, giving you something funnies never have by themselves, timing. And, of course, timing is everything...

I am very glad to have gone to the Myrtle Beach Seminar. It solidified my study in TA. I met some great people there and at other roundtables as well. I hope to see em again in Atlantic City...
