Often analysts issue reports on the basis of whether their firm has participated or will be participating in the next financing round of the company in question. So I wouldn't read too much into an analyst's report. What new information could they possible have that wasn't already known by everyone else? One thing I am curious about...does the Merrill report talk about development timelines? If so, what do they say about the expected timing of the first human implant? Is it the old information of 2Q 2000 or the yet-to-be confirmed projection of 2H 2000? Can anyone on the thread access the Merrill report?
