I believe this statement will be seen as an anachronism in the the future.

Now, had he said: "In the future smart TV's/Browsers/Portals will figure out what you like, and when you like it. They will then deliver it to you." That's the future of TV. I guess it would seem more interactive, Maybe that's what he meant? The idea that people will actively plan their TV day with 500 channels is insane. TV is beautiful for millions because they don't have to think to work it. It has to appear passive.

Thats my rant for today!
