That's right, its that time of the year again. Time to put up or shut up. Time to guess Messagemedia's top line (total revenues) for the Fourth (and final) Quarter in 1999.

Please post your guestimate in respond to this page, the Rules Page. Be sure to type your estimate on the first line of your post (eg, #reply-11685579) followed by all the BS. This will facilitate others in selecting their number and me in tallying the vote. Also, Copy and Paste the following bold face text to the bottom of your page. This will help others post to this page as well.

CONTEST RULES
- Messagemedia employees/family members are not eligible.
- Anyone with an SI handle can post a guestimate.
- The guestimate must be posted on this thread.
- Each aspiring guru gets only one guess.
- The guestimate must be expressed in millions of dollars; ie, 1.2 million.
- No two people can pick the same number, if someone has your number you must add another decimal to indicate you are above or below his/her estimate; ie, 1.25 million.
- If two people post the same number, only the first to post is considered in the tally.
- The contest begins now and ends two hours before the PR hits post time on Yahoo! (Messagemedia is expected to report at 11:00 AM EST, Thursday 02/10/00 #reply-12616031).
- The person closet to the actual total revenue number Messagemedia reports wins the Title "Veneralbe". He will be pushed around the town square in a wheel borrow and everyone must address him/her by the "Venerable" title for one week.
I will tally the count and declare the winner. The acceptance speech is optional but will be considered conducive to the spirit of the thread.
