Monica, You do recall what happened to AMD when Intel ramped up their Celeron production in early 1999, don't you? Actually I think it was Sept. 1998 when Intel introduced Mendocino, the first Celeron with on-die L2 cache. Early 1999 would have left the fox in the henhouse too long. Tony
