a friend just sent me this about a minute ago in response to something i sent last night. he's a pretty wise friend.

"laughter and tears are a signal that we've recognized something, our soul has been touched. words mean nothing at a time like this."

i've been collecting and sending lines to my daughter and my younger son (in jail) everyday (almost) for the past two years. i'll look through 'em for some wallpaper for the house. some of 'em really moved me.
