jere-

not wife, goddess. we both had baaaaad marriages before and promised not to ever do that to each other (until we're 97). 17 years of wicked bliss later, i'm not about to spoil it and break my promise.

we went to high school together in gallup. she went there to visit family this morning and will return ma¤ana. gallup is the armpit of new mexico it's a dirty town. i hated to have to move there in high school. but it transformed my life like i never expected. i have never been anywhere that had a more culturally diverse and numerically balanced populace (and i've been everywhere). indians, hispanics, gringos, afro americans, europeans, asians... and nobody is a minority there. everyone is a perfect part of the cosmos. the mixture and cultural sharing is awsome. beautiful people - friends and memories to cherish for a lifetime. it's a preview of what the world will be like one day. i love it!

santa fe and taos, eat yer freakin' heart out. gallup IS new mexico, armpit or no. but it's not for the superficial.

i go there several times a year. i just wanted to stay home alone today with the dogs and the cat and the friends on the porch.
