I disagree with the premise. I think the TA is always right. I have heard it doesn't work in manipulated markes, thin markets, etc. but my observation has been that it works when applied correctly. Bearing in mind that part of the correct application involves knowing when it has failed. For example, if 395 were a critical chart point and the market went to 396 and promptly reversed, a good technician would recognize the failure immediately.

I am not prepared to say the bottom is in, until the market says the bottom is in. I would rather be a little late than losing my money trying to pick the bottom. I think his analysis is probably correct. We just need to wait and see.
