If MCDonalds can hurt us, it can also help us. Here is the way it
is playing out so far on the .55 promotion.

1. Many franchise McDonald operators have raised the prices of their
fries and drinks, thus reducing the "savings" on a cheap Big Mac.

2. McDonalds is getting many complaints from people that don't realize
you have to buy other items to get the .55 Big Mac. (people didn't
read the small print).

So far, this is playing out to plan for us....I perceive this as a
non-threat, and a potential benefit to us as the analysists begin
to sour on the Big M strategy.
