Sean, thanks - I just hope we're not all, together, preaching to the converted. We need some rational longs to debate here.

This from Reuters at 3:18 on Friday:

Mike Scanlon, the company's senior vice president for marketing and communications, said on Thursday that more investors and other moves would be announced late on Sunday and before markets opened on Monday.

The paging industry had weakened in recent years due to competition from cellular telephones, Palm Pilots and other handheld devices that made traditional pagers unnecessary.

Now, however, paging technology or spectrum is seen as an inexpensive way to transmit electronic mail and short data messages, analysts said.
