Eric,

Thanks for posting the "hedy" Wireless Week article. Quicker and more concise than buying a book.

Regarding the CDMA's global penetration:
One geographical area yet to be publicly discussed to my knowledge is the recent on-going rollout in the Indian Ocean/Subcontinent region. It seems clear that, regardless of Europe at this time, the tide is rising around GSM. They can try to ignore CDMA, but it's not going to go away. (At least not before we squeeze out minimum of a coupla more doubles)

How about the excitement over the upcoming 700 Mhz auction? I understand MCI/Sprint are going to be serious bidders, allowing them to skip the local carriers and provide (CDMA 1XRTT at 144 Kbps very soon and later HDR) internet access direct to the home. Watch this upcoming auction. Looks like Mr. Fun failed to take it mix it in his fancy blender. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. As you know, they won't be the only bidders.

On PH:

I'd love to take on one of the remaining candidates, but I'm enjoying my last few months of "no school work." Will keep you updated on what goes on by PM. As you know, Carly is one of the few women who have gone through this one year program. She is expected to visit in the Fall - if her schedule permits. Hey, is she taking no prisoners or what?
