The BLAST technology is not well suited for mobile wireless applications.....

This was originally true, but not anymore. Lucent is working with AT&T on multiple antenna designs. It was also posted earlier that ArrayCom has a technology similar to it for mobile and fixed wireless called Spatial Division Multiple Access.

With the increase of computing power, multi-antennas design for mobile computing is becoming a reality, but I think it can benefit TDMA as well as CDMA. The question is how long will it increase the TDMA life span.
