Neither, I have no reason to be pissed at you. I am not happy that my half a million $ investment in ATHM has went downhill in the last year but I am not pissed off at myself for selecting ATHM.

Yes, I have read all of Franks' posts on this thread (early posts too)and many of his posts on other threads. This has taught me several things.
- Frank apparently has no position in ATHM and yet posts here a lot for one with no financial position.
- Frank is or was a Ham radio guy, this could explain the above. Hams just love to jabber for some unknown reason. <:}
- Frank appears to know Ahhaha much better and longer than I. Frank has posted back and forth with Ahhaha on several threads and IMO, they were mostly in close agreement with each other. I have even wondered if they were a tag team in the past.
- Frank is a consultant by trade. He gets paid to advise on technical matters.
- Frank also appears to post negative opinions about ATHM and it's future but his are much more subtle than Ahhaha's form of negativity.
- As an "old timer", Frank may just be expressing his preference for an "open" internet. IMO, it appears that he does not like the ATHM model, he prefers to have it the way the way the internet was in the good old days.
-IMO, Frank has been pushing pure fiber to the home as the best solution thus he is casting doubt on the viability of cable systems. Yes, pure may be desirable and we may all prefer this but it aint gonna happen anytime soon. I say this even though I have $100000 invested in a pre ipo startup which is involved in running pure to the home.

I know you do, and I know most everyone does. That is one reason that he can be very effective in deceiving people if he chooses to do so. This is one reason why I am pointing out certain things. I respect him in my own way too. I just don't trust him anymore after I got to know him better. |
