I will ask management about it next week. also, when you mention AIN as a potential substrate, did you know that Eric Hunter (original founder of Cree with brother Neal) has returned to work for the company? The announcement was made public within days of his obtaining a patent on the growth of AIN crystals: *The invention relates to the growth of semiconductor materials. More particularly, the invention relates to the growth of bulk single crystals of aluminum nitride* See US Patent Office: 164.195.100.11 When I aske John Palmour about their progress on this topic he absolutely refused to answer anything other than acknowledging the patent. I can tell you his body language said "top secret".
