I have been wondering about the relationship between the lowest Pricewatch quote and AMD's wholesale price. The lowest PW listing likely has a very low margin.

The most recent "official" AMD prices (from The Register, 1/24, OEM prices in lots of 1,000 except 800 MHz) were in fact higher than the best PW listing (Goutama 1/24):
