Global Thermoelectric (T.GLE) -solid oxide fuel cell system powered by
automotive gasoline. Partnering with Delphi Automotive (DPH)

Manhattan Scientifics (MHTXE)- targeting cell phone and portable electronics
market. Powered by methanol.

Plug Power (PLUG) - partnering with GE in fuel cell tech. GE has funded the
company's research.

Avista (AVA) - Bill Gates owns 5% of stock; has product similar to Plug
Power (PLUG), but doesn't have the caliber of distribution agreements as
PLUG, according to analysts.

Ballard power (BLDP) - Merrill analyst Farkas rates it as a buy. Expected to
be profitable sometime in 2001. Partners are Daimler-Chrysler (DCX), and
Ford (F). They own a combined 35% of o/s shares.

Fuel Cell Energy (FCL) - developing a fuel cell for utility industry. Stand
alone power source that can also be targeted to universities and hospitals.
Daimler Chrysler owns 11% of the company. Loeb Partner's Warren Bagatelle is
on the board of FCL. That firm is FCL's largest shareholder (not sure what
%).
