Hi Brian- FWIW, I have a position in ANTC. I like your Hoover's article but it pains me to see ANTC lumped in with Newbridge, Bann, Cabletron, and Novell. Ouch. But it's really not in any type of trouble, that these companies have, at all. ANTC's only problem is consistent execution. They have a new CEO who should help. They certainly are in the right place at the right time. No doubt about that. So they have the products, and the market. Now they just have to execute. I like their odds. BTW their execution problem in Q4 was interesting in itself. Their major customer, AT&T shifted orders from HDTs to voice ports. But that is news I kind of/sort of like to hear. ANTC has a large, "footprint"(one of my favorite investing words<g>) of HDTs. So it gives them an edge as T migrates to voice over their cable network. -MikeM(From Florida) PS I was the one who had sent the Newbridge DSL info to you. Thanks for your comments on it. Luckily I hit it right and established a position at 15. Hopefully my DSL and LMDS speculation pans out. If not, I may get out of my position after the next CC. It's the DSL side I'm really hoping works out for them near term.
