uf: Aunt Nancy made a wise decision. In the spring of '97 I leased a fully loaded Ford Explorer from one of my father's clients (a large Midwestern automotive dealer). I used the internet (primarily edmunds.com and auto-by-tel's website) and I was able to do some research and get valuable pricing info. This helped me negotiate a leasing arrangement that was very cost-effective. I love the vehicle and extended the 2 year lease last year. The only problem is that the lease expires at the end of March. Oh well, it may be time to lease another new (or slightly used SUV). With the Midwestern winters its an ideal vehicle to have. The Explorers and Mountaineers are also GREAT for long roadtrips <VBG>.
