Gottfried,
Thanks for holding my hand thru this trying experience! If I ever find that little sucker..................well, I'll just be sure to open it!
downloaded rs405eng.exe and now you can't find it? Right.
Have you tried the Windows FIND function? Yes, but to no avail.
If not, you'll just have to download again [arghhh!]. Arghhhh is right!
And try to watch so you see where it's downloaded to. It said to Drive C - it really gave me no choice. However, I re-checked all drives, but to no avail.
Alternately, search for adobe*.* on your PC. You may have AA Reader already, because many program CDs bundle it. Hum-m-m-m.....A search for Adobe brings up mucho: dll's, GIF's, 2 Common File (but they're useless), and Art. Appears these are all related to a Kodak CD I recently installed.
A search for Acrobat brings up much ado about nothing too: 3 KB of just the TITLE: Get Adobe Acrobat Reader (with a blank page) and 2 KB of just the TITLE: Download Adobe Acrobate Reader (with another blank page) and a useless GIF.
I'll try downloading it again later tonite - maybe about midnight so I don't have to wait thru the lengthy download.
I really appreciate your prompt responses. Tomorrow is another day. Maybe I can laugh about it then!!!!
