How can Blocbuster not make money? This is the big question I have. All of the Blockbusters I go to are very busy, and I can never get the movies I want. A long time ago I owned Viacom (at 18), because of the arbitrage activity had killed the stock (Although 1% of sales were from cable, the stock got killed when the other cable stocks languished.). I've seen in Barrons that the stock is currently suspected of being arbitraged. Also, I've seen that the VIAB shares have a huge short interest outstanding, thereby suporting my point. We may see 20 indeed. I don't think the banks will pressure the co., because the going concern value is much too great.
