If you haven't got it installed yet ... I suggest:
Use partition magic to delete the partition that you want to install it into and leave it as free space ... then install the Corel Linux and take the defaults, the install program will take over the free space and setup two drive IDs (one is for swap space).

It will be a lot easier than trying to sort out the glitches.

I've installed it 3 times now ... it does go into a windows defined partition, but it's more complicated that way.

Good Luck! It does look pretty good when it does come up, a lot nicer that Red Hat or Caldera installs do.
