Fantasy Visions for SFTBF :

Well ok, Jonas, I think you started a new topic. I've never seen Son's 300 Year vision. If someone can direct me to a printed copy, or disclose the details, it would be much appreciated.

As for my fantasy vision for SFTBF, it is of the same sentiment as a friend who, upon being promoted to company president responded, "What I really want is to RULE THE WORLD." Do you think, for his generations to follow, Son's vision is less than this?

I agree SFTBF may not announce and/or sell all of their holdings - maintaining control of some for a "synergistic-monopoly" approach and portions of others for influence and income. I don't think Japan has any monopoly laws like the US. Perhaps this is another reason we will never see an ADR. I do foresee dividends one day (5-10 yrs)from their holdings.

Technology is not going to stop with the internet, b2b, b2c, wireless, fiber optics, satellites, etc. Bio-advances are tough to call - so many variables. But our children's children will be bio-engineered. And here's the fantasy - after the global-internet wars of 2015 - <G> - and SFTBF has a lockdown on internet technology - I can see SFTBF moving into the smart material domain & environmental conservation (engineered seeds; new composite construction materials allowing heat flow in-or-out, at the flip of a chip; production of water from basic elements making arid deserts farm land...).

I know, I'm a little carried away here but I do see this future and SFTBF there as a player. I'm not "visionary" towards any other holdings. -Please, pinch me and wake me up. -barbie
