Okay LE lets look at their disclaimer bit by bit shall we.

"TheStockNet.com reserves the right to accept and/or receive compensation for companies reviewed or profiled on this site. Any compensation would be completely noted as per SEC regulations.

I take this to mean that StockNet.com does not accept gratuities or compensation of any kind from the company unless they specifically state that they have done so per SEC regulations. They state on the first page of the "Stock Pick of the Week" that they DO NOT accept compensation for Stock picks of the Week. Plain and simple. Maybe they accept it for stock of the month or year or millenium...who knows...but not stock of the week.

TheStocknet.com, its associates, its members and such reserve the right to invest in any stock profiled, reviewed, or mentioned on this site without notification to visitor/viewers. The exception being when we specifically state that we will not invest in a certain stock.

They are saying that they may INVEST in a stock without notification. This is different than COMPENSATION for profiling a stock. In other words...we should assume that they may be investing in a stock that they are profiling...because the disclaimer says they may do this...so they are not accused of front running the stock. That is why they do NOT invest in PICKS OF THE WEEK. No front running happening there.

So what was your question again? I understand the disclaimer. Maybe you need to reread it again.

But thanks for bringing up the question. I can see on first read through where it may be slightly unclear for some people.

Mary
