I don't want to insult Mr. Gintel but if I was one of his investors and I knew that the fund manager had had the oportunity to make 2.6 million off my money ($50.00/share) in a short period of time and instead decided to let my money drop 37% so he could make 5% on that money at a lower basis price I think I would be very mad. Even if he loaned the money out at $37.00 he would only make 370,000 a year.

I think the idea of his aiding the short interest to return such a little amount of money compared to what he could have made is not so great. Just as he is buying the stock to hold long term no one said he couldn't sell the stock at 50.00 and buy it back at 25. I might have a different set of values but I think he is risking too much for so little. With the number of shares he controls he has also helped to cause a lot of smaller investors a lot of worry.

I think it is definitly paramount at this point that anyone able to move their shares to cash do so so we can help Mr. Gintel's investors out. I personally think he should call his shares back in and try to take advantage of a profit which could be better than 5% if this stock moves up to where it should trade.
