Your suggestions make sense, and whoever talks to Terrell next should ask him about each of them. It's great having many millions in cash on hand, but it would be even better if we knew SJD was using that money to enhance itself as a gold exploration company. Again, look at what CREW has done with its cash, it has capitalized on the POG downturn to scoop up valuable properties at bargain prices...SJD needs to explain to us precisely what their plan is, if they plan to continue investing in non-gold markets because they believe the gold market is screwed for the long-term, they should tell us, so those who agree can stick with them, and those who do not can bail...

Re: #2 on your list (buying back shares), assuming SJD wants to remain a gold exploration company, one additional benefit this brings (although difficult to quantify) is a signal to the market that SJD is on the up-and-up, and that it is confident about its future and its upside. Although buying back shares is nothing new in the more mainstream markets, this would be a unique, attention-getting move in the juniors market, which was notorious for scams even before Bre-X.

Best regards, Otter
