What about this scenario?

GNET realizes, down the road, that established brokerages will lose their effectiveness because of the growth of individual investors, the internet, the SEC, etc., and could care less about coverage from Goldman Sachs, etc. (What about that rumor, anyway?) Online brokerages already have access to IPOs, so if that is your bag, you can get some. New SEC rules will affect the bottom line of the "big boys". GNET also seems to be positioning itself as a conglomerate; whether it spins off SI and the like over time, a la CMGI, I do not know.
Anyway, thoughts?
