According to CTV, Barrick, in notes passed out prior to conference, has decided NOT to discontinue its' hedging. Gold immediately fell. It's blatant now just who stands where.

ABX is trying to hold the gold price down so that they can buy up more reserves at distress prices. So far this strategy has worked well for them and I can understand why they would want to stick with it.
