Much of this is repetitive, but, obviously, LUKOY is more of a political than a financial play. From what I have read, Putin, as ex-KGB head, knows where the graft is and who got it. He also is a realistic nationalist, i.e., wants to see the success of Russia, rather than the success of the few ologarchs. IMO, he will bring stability to Russia after the election and will encourage foreign investment by stamping out much of corruption. We will then see LUKOY's stock price resemble its value. The signs I"m looking for is who's head rolls and when. We know Chynomyrdn is a billionaire, as are others and they didn't get callouses. fred
