Yes, Inprise sold out to a company that took two Borland products and flushed them down the toilet...Paradox and QuatroPro. They also ruined WordPerfect...Looks like they want to add Delphi too.

This is a fact. Pdox & QP were much better products when owned by BORL than they are now. WP may be a different story (it was crap to begin with).

I'm not sure that's the same CORL, though. And I am encouraged by the fact that INPR will stay a separate entity.

Frankly, I find this deal to be almost a non-deal. I had felt that INPR had great potential for its stockholders. Now, it would seem that CORL's involvement serves to dilute that interest. Perhaps that will be offset by whatever synergy there is..
