I am not an accountant so I can't comment on this. From my simplistic point of view I had to ask myself if Borland is worth $1B.

Certainly not if you look at INPR's earnings right now.

However, I do believe BC++Builder will create a revolution in linux application development.

Along with Corel's packaging of the linux OS, marketing, sales channels, and INPR's tools I do believe they can create a powerhouse that can go head on with MSFT. Linux *IS* catching on.

It's a big gamble, but the risk/rewards is pretty good.
