Ruffian and all: Just got off the phone with a high level VP in Japan who had a meeting
with a high level VP of Kyocera (Japan) last week. The word he received was that
Kyocera paid 1.2 billion (with a B) dollars for the handset division. If accurate, this is
more than double what the street expected. The same source said that K is going to
make a very major impact on NTT's business. The dollar number was converted from
Yen so hope it is accurate.
