Mike,
I appreciate your candor about my list of stocks. However, I might remind you that there is a reason for them making chocolate ice cream and vanilla ice cream.
I do find it amusing that you single out XOMA and LGND with the label of being "hopeless". The following is the YTD appreciation in my portfolio:ALLP 11 19/32 + 3/32 1,269 11 3/4 - 10 11/16 323 10,000 14,712 4,713 +47.1% News Chart Discussion

The overall portfolio is up 69.9% and XOMA is up 103.7% but must admit that LGND is a laggard at only 47.7%. Mike! Can I be totally honest with you? I can only wish that I owned a few more of these "hopeless" stocks. BONZ is another good example of a "hopeless" stock. Hardly anyone was paying attention as I built a personal holding of 10,000 shares...and being "hopeless" as it was, it has only appreciated by 127%, so I guess I don't know where the "best stuff" is. (:>)
As for SDIX....okay! You win on this one, but it listed only because I have a keen interest in GMO's and as this issue grows in this country, stocks like SDIX will have their day in the sun.
