For all my good friends invested in Rambus. I had been a Rambus holder from just after the IPO until the end of the millenium. In my opinion, if the story does not change, Rambus will go the way of EDO ram and other exotic memory, and become a niche player. The one exception is if they win the lawsuit against Hitachi, and then only because of past SDRAM & DDRAM patents it may financially force companies to reconsider. Until then I think the driving force, the Intel support, is now weak to disappearing.
