J, IP SAN on the IP WAN. What a good idea. CNT allows EMC's remote data mirroring software (SRDF) to be used with the CNT UltraNet Storage Director switch for SAN connectivity over IP networks (e.g. Intranet or Internet) rather than the customary dedicated high speed/high cost lines. CNT UltraNet customers may now purchase and use EMC SRDF software for data mirroring over their IP networks. As a result of this collaboration, EMC is coming out with their own SRDF IP mapping software, as recently announced: biz.yahoo.com CNT's UtraNet switch does ESCON, SCSI, ATM, T3/E3, 10/100 Ethernet, and Fibre Channel: cnt.com
