I think you will find with a little research that there are cheap substitutes for PGM's in fuel cells now and more being developed. For example, Inco's high value added nickel powder coatings appear to hold great promise for replacing palladium in a number of applications. Also, palladium's traditional trading range is $80-$120/ounce. Many of the exploration plays today will go back on the shelf when PGM prices return to their historical trading ranges. Be careful is all I am trying to say. I have no position in SUF or any PGM play at this time, in case you are wondering. IMO, substitution and a price correction are very big risks at this time. Even some of the better plays would suffer from lack of interest from investors, with a PGM price correction.
