Go2Net, National Discount Brokers In 3-Yr
Svcs Pact

NEW YORK -- Go2Net Inc. (GNET) signed a three-year agreement
making National Discount Brokers Group Inc.'s NBD.com online brokerage
the exclusive integrated brokerage service for the Go2Net Network.

In a press release Monday, National said as part of the agreement, Vulcan
Ventures Inc. and Go2Net will purchase 500,000 shares at $27 a share and
warrants for another 500,000 at $33 a share.

Go2Net will receive an annual minimum payment of $7.5 million from
NBD.com for the three-year term, the third year of which can be cancelled if
Go2Net fails to achieve certain performance goals.

Go2Net will develop and license to NBD.com a co-branded version of its
Silicon Investor discussion boards. The NBD.com and Silicon Investor
discussion boards will be integrated over the next few months.

Go2Net will also promote NBD.com on the Go2Net Network and Silicon
Investor.

Go2Net Chairman and Chief Executive Russell C. Horowitz will become a
National Discount Brokers Group director.

National Discount Brokers Group is the parent company of National Discount
Brokers Corp./NBD.com and Sherwood Securities.

Go2Net is an Internet network offering a number of branded properties and
content.
