Julius~Great Post! Morningstar.com says 59 of the 83 tech funds it follows had returns over 100% for 1999. I think it's important to note as reported in Barron's that this strong performance of high-multiple stocks in an environment of rising rates contrasts with the historical experience. Our DL&J strategist, Tom Galvin says investors are just being "rational" favoring tech over mature industries that are feeling the pinch of increasing cost of labor, capital and materials. He thinks the tech leaders are generating sufficient revenue and unit growth to support those valuations. With that in mind I continue to hold FBIOX, FSELX and FSDCX.~russ
